Hi,friends, this procedure might be relatively new. I have read that it is similarly to DBS,but it targets the spinal cord instead of the brain.I was wondering,if anyone had this procedure done, please share your experience. How effective is it?Is it safer ,compared to DBS? Thanks in advance.

Interestingly enough I have a ex work colleague, doesn’t have PD, had this procedure for her back.
I only heard about it from a physiotherapist friend who keeps in touch with her.
I saw her from a distance a couple of days ago looking great and had just walked a few miles around the local golf course! Clearly it s working for her.
