I'm glad he's feeling better.

He says he wants to join the world again. I hope that doesn't mean he wants to visit his "music" on the world again. (I feel like putting music in quotes isn't good enough. I mean after all what emanates from him could hardly be called music by any stretch.)

The article didn't mention the only important part of the story, that is, who, how, and where the stem cell therapy was administered.

I disagree. The early ozzy albums with guitarists Randy Rhoads, Jake E Lee and Zack Wylde were earth shattering. You may not care for the heavy metal genre, but his work is important and highly influential. And Black Sabbath , his even earlier band, was as important to the heavy metal genre as the Beatles were to rock and roll. I don't particularly care for his later works but the early stuff was truly great.

You speak the truth my man, black Sabbath is a milestone band like the Beatles and dream theater And I pray that the treatment he received is also a milestone.

Shame you don’t appreciate music . You must be really old.

bassofspades in reply toNitro53

Omg that is funny

MBAnderson profile image
MBAnderson in reply toNitro53

that's the thing. I love music. Calling what Ozzy did, music, is like calling when kids write on the sidewalk with chalk, literature.

To each their own . Makes the world go round. But Randy Rhoads was the all time greatest.

Old enough to tell the difference between music and noise

Nitro53 profile image
Nitro53 in reply toMBAnderson

Apparently not. What’s your genre?

MBAnderson profile image
MBAnderson in reply toNitro53

I am not really stuck on one, but if I had to choose, it would be rock 'n' roll, although I also like bluegrass, blues and classic.

See, the problem with heavy metal is that it all says the same thing

I often put on a mix of the Stones, Fogerty, Zeppelin, Springsteen, the Dead, Pink Floyd, and Ronstadt, put my headphones on, put my feet up, and crank it up.

Good choices, although l’m still not sure why you don’t like Ozzy’s early stuff. I agree his later works I could do without.

I'm really not familiar with this early stuff.

I do like Dylan and I almost listed him, but he didn't fit in with the list, but neither does Ronstadt.

Dylan?

As old as ozzy?

I just turned 74 March 9. I am in shock, too. I don't know how that snuck up on me.

Great! I read it a couple of days ago when you mentioned it in another post.

Husband will start Ozone therapy soon.

Hi Despe, can you tell me more re ozone therapy. I tried looking it up, but the info was not so clear cut. Is it expensive and do you know how the procedure is done and what are the supposed benefits? Thank you for your help and good luck to your husband.

Cheers

Mel

There are different ways to be administered Ozone. The one my husband will have is "10 passes PRP."

Here is a good link with lots of information:

Yes, it is a little pricey. :(

About 2 weeks ago, my husband had knee Ozone injections for chronic pain. It worked like a miracle! Hasn't experienced any pain since. Ozone doesn't mask the pain, it regenerates cartilage, as well as I can describe it (I am not a doctor :) ).

Wow, thank you so much for the info and quick response! I will checj out the link you sent and I am just hoping this therapy is available in Australia. Please stay safe out there! Thank you again!

I was looking online for doctors, but it's not quite clear. I will have to research it more, but I'm holding off until this covid gets settled. I'm too worried about medical facilities at the moment. Thank you for your help! Stay safe.

Cheers Mel

I've been listening to (reading, rather) this conversation with great interest. I have an open mind but must admit that classical music is my great love. I'll be 85 shortly.

Hi Marc, how are you feeling? It would be helpful, for our community, to know where Ozzy did the treatment. I know it was in Switzerland. Best wishes.

MBAnderson in reply toFed1000

I'm feeling fine, thank you for asking. I don't know anything. The article didn't talk about his treatment

Got that right. ( I don’t know anything). J.K.

What dose any of this got to do with his treatment to this rock god.

Are you calling Ozzie a rock God??

MBAnderson in reply toMBAnderson

Here's what heavy-metal says to me, "I'm a petulant teenager and I hate my parents and I hate my high school teachers (and all authority for that matter,) because they wouldn't let me do whatever i want, so here's this in-your-face."

Glad he's feeling better but musically the whole genre stinks. Intentional dementia.
