I've been taking Thiamine injections twice a week for several years. I'm considering trying oral daily pills instead to compare. Wondering if anyone has taken both styles of Thiamine for a significant amount of time, enough to compare and share their experience and preference?

High Dose Thiamine - Injections vs Oral Pills
I have been taking B1 once a week in the form of injections for several months. Recently, however, I have added the tablets and I intend to continue with them because I believe they offer more benefits than injections. What is your experience in this regard? Do you share my feeling?
I did exactly that, beginning with 100 mg injections twice a week. No difference except during the first days. Dr Costantini asked me at the time to stop during a week and to continue at half the dose and so on. I was at 75 mg once a week when he had to stop his practice.
I then turned to oral form of B1 beginning with 2.000 mg / day. I gradually went down to 250 mg / day with no result.
Now trying to up the dose, beginning with 2.000 mg (4 tablets) / day. Still no result. I intend to continue at least a month before upping to 3.000 mg.
Hope this helps.
In general injections are thought to be better than pills because digestion isn't involved.
