Good Morning Oreolu. It does not matter how or when anyone got their Pd. I think it does matter how you go about helping yourself to deal with the Pd.
We know that there is no medication that slows down or stops the progression of Pd, so there is nothing to be gained by going in that direction, unless you desperately need some temporary relief from one or two of the symptoms,
What I have found, which costs nothing, is that fast walking helped me to reverse many of my movement symptoms. Yes I still have most of my symptoms but I don't need to take any medication and I have lived a NORMAL LIFE since 2002, and at the age of 85 I still hope to enjoy a few more years and carry on doing the walking.
I have temporarily suffered a reversal of my fortunes when I contracted atrial fibrillation (AF), which temporarily stopped me from doing fast walking. I am now slowly building my walking back up to one hour, every second day, having done everything I possibly could to overcome the AF, but with little success.
I have had to accept that I have AF and I will walk as fast as I can with that AF. My overall health is more important than any one single health issue!
