I have Dystonia in my right foot. Botox injections have helped to straighten out my foot that was really turning in. I still have cramping in my toes that pull the muscles to a point about 4 inches above my ankle on the outside, and in my calf and up to my knee. It gets triggered when I drive and press my foot on the break or gas pedal. Since the movement is involuntary, it happens often. I hope my next Botox injection will help this problem a little more. This is the most bothersome problem of my PD symptoms right now.

Sorry, I misspelled brake pedal.😊
What I have learned from dystonia is that lowering animal protein intake and taking enough magnesium (right type and right amount) , streching exersices, taking care of muscle knots in the back , shoulder, and hip can reduce the exertional dystonia significantly.

Taking b1 Thiamine hcl eliminated the curling and cramping of my toes. It hasn’t happened in over a year. I’ve been on HDT since 11-18.
