I had tried to warn some folks a while back about some of the shenanigans. That day I mentioned science coming out of China and Chinese journals. I was roundly criticized for PC reasons. But life in ROC is command and extremely political. Get into this study or you will lose your job, go to prison, have to go to re-education camp. Totalitarian. You can also see it in the retraction tracking newsletters, but by then often they are referred and repeated across the world for years. Then there are the bad peer reviews which is an industry secret, the peer reviews that are farmed out to students and ghosters who can't do the right work, and then the journals that will not retract sometimes for many years.
