Rytary and Speech

I am looking for some feedback on the effects of Rytary on speech. I am doing well with Rytary otherwise, but I can hardly speak coherently when I am on it.

Any similar experiences?

My wife, age 71, has had PD for 18 years. She has been on 4 Rytary caps every 3 hrs from 7am to 10am plus 1-2 Sinemet fast release. She started Rytary 1-2 years ago when it first came out. Her speech most of the time, for the past year, is garbled and slurred. It is very hard to understand. Early in the day, her speech is usually good. I think her speech is affected by high dose level L-Dopa meds in general. Also causing her psychosis.

Thank you for your inputs. That is also my experience. Sometimes I also need Sinemet and then I might be better off mute😩
