LOOKING FOR A NEURO EXPERIMENTING NEW MEDS OR TECHNIQUES

AGED 83 and diagnosed PD in november 2017 I have tried to be eligible for research experience . The answer was "you are too old ". I would like to know if it's really impossible to test new meds with old age PEOPLE ; Thanks M.C

No, it is not impossible at all. Probably most trials would include you. I think it prudent to be real picky about which trials you volunteer for.

Virtually every clinical trial has a definition of the requirements for participation in the clinical trial. Often times it includes an age range, but often times 83 would be in that range.

foxtrialfinder.michaeljfox.... Access the Michael Trial Finder to support your search for an appropriate trial for you. There is a very interesting Blood Plasma infusion trial - look into it.

I am 68 and I was turned down by a neurologist to help me with the Hinz protocol. He said that I had PD t too long and I wouldn't benefit from it. Someone from this Website h

Are the symptoms really all that bad? Maybe you would be better off avoiding the stress. You will probably be in the half that gets a placebo anyway. If I had that much energy and was able to participate , I would go to Disneyland instead or fishing or
