I take it this is a private clinic stem cell therapy. See elsewhere on this forum regarding stem cell trials. There are 3 legitimate trials in progress and no approved tested stem cell treatments available anywhere in the world. Don't go anywhere near it. It is likely to be a dangerous waste of money
I second Winnie's advice. Do not do it!
We are in the US. My husband w PD (diag 3 yrs ago) is getting a stem cell injection in a bad knee tomorrow. We'll see if it affects anywhere else in his body.
Is it approved there and please keep updating us
I agree with Winnie, here is what the most authoritative Italian doctor Dr.Pezzoli of Parkinson.it thinks, recently ( 2019), in response to a patient:”As for the stem there are still no positive results anywhere in the world. I have personally visited centers in China, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, USA, Sweden. I've never seen noteworthy improvements in treated patients. Some centers then applied equivalent techniques Stamina (never approved by the scientific community). “
