This morning's emails had an interesting bit of research about preventing a-synuclein doing its destructive neuron misfolding. Hoping that something happens quickly with this.

Face the facts on this.

α-synuclein accumulation (emphasis on the word accumulation) is toxic, but I doubt they have found the answer to preventing it. But, I could be wrong. Pretty much theoretical with their "fruit fly" animal test. Is a fruit fly an animal? guess so.

An esoteric series of studies.

what about LRRK2 kinase, tau, and β and ƴ-synuclein accumulation? Doesn't their excessive accumulation play a role as well?

disordered is NOT the same as mis-folded. Of course, one can define words in any manner.

Haha I agree Sharon, however the information relating to PD is misfolded and so I just assumed that this would help create a more consistent approach to the problem of PD caused by a-synuclein. Your point is valid of course.
