Nausea and PD

Hello all! This might be an odd question but does anyone ever experience nausea upon rising in the morning? Before eating breakfast and before taking meds? Any feedback would be most appreciated! Thank you!

Better check and make sure it is not morning sickness. Apologies if that seems impertinent, but I know from experience that surprises can occur in such matters.

Part of that experience included my partner having what looked like regular menstrual flow which was called "spotting" after the fact when it turned out she was pregnant. MD was sure she was not pregnant - the way we found out otherwise was a home pregnancy test from the drugstore.

My mother used to have nausea while having lunch/dinner after a few morsels. Gave her ginger juice and she has never had it the day after I gave her; no nausea since 2 years. Now it is a part of her daily fluid intake. See details how I prepare in the link below. Hope it helps.

I sincerely hope it works for you too. Ginger helps with inflammation and Gastroparesis too. It may take a couple of days at least to be effective. Good luck and take care.

Yes, my husband does. Are you intermittent fasting? Anything over 12 hours since last meal starts the fasting process. I think it can make you feel nauseous. Just a theory though. He was going from 6pm to 10 am and felt even worse.

Yes I do some intermittent fasting but that doesn’t always seem to be the issue. I think the issue for me is my Gastro tract is extremely slow and I think there could possibly be some gastroparesis but I’m not sure yet as I’m getting that looked into.
