Did you know that:

"More men than women are diagnosed with Parkinson’s by a ratio of nearly 2:1. But the rate of diagnosis is not the only difference. Women and men diagnosed with Parkinson’s experience differences when it comes to presenting symptoms, sleep problems, cognitive impact, responses to surgery, medication side effects, emotional health, the care partner experience and more."

To learn about the differences you can register for the webinar at the following link:

This webinar will be taught by Dr. Michelle Fullard, a Movement Disorder Specialist from the University of Colorado Department of Neurology.

Skybluepink,

Sorry to hear about your family's difficult medical issues and I wish I could provide some helpful answer, but I have no medical background and unfortunately was not able to attend the webinar. It's good to do your own research and you are at the right forum to learn valuable information. Wishing you all the best!
