CELERY JUICE DIET

I follow medical medium on Instagram, they make some interesting claims, namely it assists with chronic illnesses and parkos got named, it's claiming it helps with central nervous system repairing itself just to name one benefit.

It mentions 1x 16oz (I'm not sure what that is in metric and I use metric) glass in the morning on a empty stomach helps, and it's said to clean your plumbing really well (sorry if that sounds vulgar)

Anyone tried it?

Regards Aaron

Celery may have some benefit, see the link below. Medical Medium reads as junk science and quackery, IMO.

Wouldn't believe it without some science behind it. GIGO.

I have been doing 16oz celery juice every day for months now. It has greatly improved my stiffness and inflammation. Also helps my dry skin problems. It gives me energy better than caffeine ever did.

Yes on empty stomach first thing in morning. I wait 15 minutes or so then eat as usual. My BP is usually around 110/70 so no issues there.

I have started taking celery juice daily, along with other juices and modifying my diet in accordance with the principles set out by Medical Medium.

I have seen a consistent and significant reduction in my blood pressure as a result.

I have all his books. They are a good reference for eating naturally and that can only be good for health.

Science doesn't know everything. It doesn't fully understand or know how to cure my Lupus,APS and other conditions I have. Yes his philosophy is Esoteric but hes not forcing it on anyone. Many enlightened doctors recognise that food can exacerbate

Autoimmune illness. Hippocrates, father of medicine said, " Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food"

The way I look at it is it took me many years to develop my health problems so it will take some time to recover.

Science is starting to recognise that many diseases are caused by viruses, especially Epstein Barr and Bacteria. They just haven't made the full connection yet but maybe the Science of the future will I believe.

Many of the drugs made over the years by "science" have saved lives but many have had serious health consequences sometimes fatal. Vioxx being a case in point among many others.

Science can be a force for good but it is not without bias, and vested interest. Medical medium's approach is empowering for me and is beginning to improve my health. I expect that to continue.

Not what you're looking for?
