I’m new here and to off times

I am 70 and was diagnosed in August 2013. My neurologist said I seemed to have a slowly developing type of Parkinson’s. I seemed to cope well and was exercising a lot. I was taking Modopar (4x125) and Sifrol in the daytime only until my last appointment in October. I mentioned I had started to have neck pains when I woke up and he prescribed an extra half Modopar for the early morning. The pain of got worse and spread to my arm, hand chest and ribs and I started having muscle spasms about midnight and again on waking. I can’t get another appointment with the neurologist until the end of April. I went to the doctor who sent me for an MRI scan which found arthritis issues but not bad enough for treatment other than painkillers. I was given 1 Prégabaline to take before bed which has made me sleep better but I was still waking up at the same time in pain. So he has now (2 weeks ago) given me an extra Modopar at midnight to try for a month. Now I don’t have the midnight pain any more or the spasms but the three or so hours to the first Modopar are torture when I can’t sit or lie in comfort from this pulling pain and I feel utterly wretched. I don’t seem to be able to do much any more. Even the first Modopar seems to only work for an hour or two. I really don’t know what to do.

New schedule, now I follow this regimen:

3 x day C/L 50-200 ER : 8 am, 2 pm, 8 pm. Because it is ER, I take with or w/o food.

2 x day (8 am 2g, and 2 pm 2g) Vitacost vitamin B1 (as thiamine HCL) 500mg, easy swallow capsules
