As a fundraiser for shakeitup.org.au/pause4park... I am looking to organise an event in April that involves the design community interviewing people with Parkinson's and mapping out there entire journey on a wall. Doctors, specialists and researchers would also attend. The goal would be to raise funds for research while exploring correlations in symptoms, experiences and environments while inspiring the design community to design for Parkinson's. The potential outcomes are endless: new tools, new communication methods, new symptom tracking, new privacy considerations, new fundraising opportunities.
I am keen to get the communities response to this. Is it something you believe in? Do you want to get involved?
