Gabapentin

I complained to my neurologist yesterday that I had trouble sleeping because of hand tremor and she prescribed me gabapentin. Any thoughts on this?

Yes it helps me to have a sound uninterrupted sleep for 6-7 hours.

Could you please tell me how much you take? I am experimenting with the amount - doctor says 300 mg., but that doesn't always help, but taking two seems to make it hard to wake up. Thanks...

I decided not to take it at all after I read it can damage your organs all meds have side effects

I did not realize neurologist used this drug for sleep. My husband was prescribed this for neuropathy pain. It did not really help the pain and caused him to have delusions so he went off of it Must be a multi use drug
