That sounds good..i just find getting up in the morning..im back and forth,.same with bowel ..always once i get out and walking..try pelvic floor.. Think its stress as often when i go out ..its back and forth ...or cleaning teeth, washing up,.could be ovarian cyst i have..

Important thing is to drink more water..

Yes, currently seeing a Uro-Gynecologist to see what, if anything, can be done.

I did before 2009, had to wear a pad all of the time due to a slow dribble. I had a hysterectory and bladder sling done in 2009. Now, I have to sit down and think about it before I can urinate. For me, that surgery was a good thing.

My mother had surgery twice and it did no good. Was thinking of buying the kegel ultra macine which works on the pelic floor muscles. Has anyone tried it?

I did not try that. At the time that I had the surgery, my uterus was fully prolapsed over the bladder, not only did I dribble all of the time, but urination was very painful.

I am also post menopausal, the surgery made a huge improvement in my function. They went ahead and took out the uterus, tubes and ovaries. I had a ruptured eptopic pregnancy years ago, my ovaries were no longer working, so just did it all.

you look very young and pretty in your photo. I am scared of surgery.;try to control my ovarian cyst naturally with gemmotherapy.

Its a major problem for me. Check out neurogenic bladder hilarypeta. No amount of exercise has helped :(

hilarypeta,

I am fortunate to look younger than my age, I will soon be 51. I avoid sugery until either the pain or symptoms are too much for me to bear. I was in my late 40's when I finally decided I would have the surgery. My GYN had told me the uterus was prolapsed years before but said if it was not bothering me not to have surgery.

When the pain and incontinence became a problem, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Hate to hear this from doctors, but he told me it was the worst case he had dealt with, what was suppose to be a 3hr. surgery turned into 7 hrs.

He asked if I did a lot of heavy lifting, which I did. He told me to stop because I was tearing my insides apart. I am glad that I had the surgery and honestly, the recovery was very short since it was all done with laproscopes.

Hope this helps, Susie

OH YES this is a big problem!!!! And also take water pills to help with the blood pressure...up and down all night and to top off I had a full hysterectomy too! I am always peeing on myself and it gets worse everyday!!! It seemed to get worse when I found out I had PD!

hi all

the incontinence is different for me - iwht PSP it is a matter of urgency and having to empty the bladder properly o'wise i get a UTI which i had never had before the PSP- now twice ayear i have this problem

and having to "go" 4 bowel problems as well

love jill :-)

Hi Jill, i call it my key in the lock problem. Seems i have to get inside urgently as soon as i start to unlock the door. That urgency for both bowel and bladder is neurogenic I think. Only thing that helps me is drugs like you take. Have wondered about botox injections but they hurt!

i too have this urgency problem - sometimes i am not even aware that i need the loo until i get ti within 10 feet of one and then somtimes it is too late - my poor husband dies not understand the dynamics of it - only the extra washing !!
