Just found this very timely article about a new purpose for an old drug: Trazodone. I know some of us have seen the information Simon has posted on the website Sience Of Parkinson's. I'm hoping my MDS will prescribe Trazodone for me. Is safe and non addictive, effective for treating insomnia, anxiety, depression and very likely neuroprotective. I guess the big downside of course, is its not new, so big drug companies can't make large profit, I'm excited and hope to try it soon, hopefully tonight. Will keep folks posted.
