Hello,
does anyone live in Michigan that can suggest a good Dr to get my Medical Marijuana card? Most Dr's here are skeptical of writing for it for Parkinsons
Any help or suggestions please? Thanks all

I live in Florida, but you can find a doctor in your area by going to this website and typing in your zip code : marijuanadoctors.com/medica...
Although from the website you won't be able to know how good a doctor is, but the way I understand it - you have to figure out the treatment on your own by trial and error because doctors don't know enough yet to prescribe specific strains, dosage, frequency or delivery method.
If you have official Parkinson's diagnosis you should be able to qualify for the Med. Mar. card.
yes i do but i dont see that diagnosis on the list thats why i am worried i wont get it. I would have thought my neurologist would be able to write for it since she diagnosed me right?
I thought the same way but then discovered that only doctors authorized to prescribe MM are able to use it for treatment. My neurologist is not authorized, so I went to a different specialty physician who is authorized, paid $250, and waiting right now to be approved by the state.
Forgot to mention that MM authorized physician stated that PD diagnosis automatically qualifies you for MM authorization if you have supporting statement from your neurologist.
The MM physician will probably want to see the diagnosis.
Robyn,
I left you a private message with some information that I hope will prove to be useful
