Sinamet

I take a 50/200 cr sinamet four times a day, sometimes the pills do not affect and sometimes I go off after two hours. The neurologist offered to replace dopecker. Is there a chance that the dopecker will absorb more quickly and more time?

What is dopecker?

Do you ever take a multivitamin or B vitamin around the same time as your Sinemet?

B6 inactivates sinemet if taken at the same time.

If it is not too late to start doing meaningful exercise I would suggest that you start as soon as possible as the exercise is important in the battle with this terrible affliction.

The meds we use for our PD are the essential. The meds control our symptoms so we can exercise. Any exercise will help to slow our decline. Without meds most pwp could not do "fast walking" like you do or any form of exercise.

You probably know already, but John can not find one persn who has followed him who has reversed their pd and now take no medication.

Hi Bailey. Everybody who is already on medication will have to continue to take that medication until they feel that they are ready to start coming off it. If the patient wants to go the exercise route, before starting to take Pd medication then so much the better. Neither is mutually exclusive.
