My personal doctor not my neurologist put me on Gabapentin 100 mg 3 times a day for the nerve pain i have in my feet. I have only been on it for three days and my feet are a lot better. They don't bother me as much at night and hardly at all when i am awake. The other thing i have noticed is my hands no longer hurt during off times. And my meds seem to work faster. They took a hour or better to start working before but now it is more like 30 to 45 minutes. Has any one her taken Gabapentin and did it work.

I have been on Gabapentin for years before PD . It was prescribed by a pain management doctor for arthritis in my knees . I take 300 mg 3xs a day. 2 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon and 3 at night. I believe it has helped me with pain. As it relates toPD I am unsure. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Glad it’s working for you.

Yes I was prescribed gabapentin by my primary also for pain from cervical radiculopathy and it did work well although I only took it at night and he also recommended I drink lots of water. But I'm glad this is working for you.

Yes, I take it on occasion for pain relief for the eye injections I get every month for macular degeneration, 300 mg. It helps a lot! I also take it on occasion for restless leg syndrome. Just one 100 mg. does the trick. My neuro likes it because it is a "clean" drug, meaning without toxic side effects.
