Acute emotional stressors can exacerbate motor deficits in PD

Recent studies have shown that stress can profoundly affect motor behaviour and worsen motor deficits associated with Parkinson's disease (PD) by acting on the dopaminergic system, possibly due to stress-associated emotional changed. I totally agree with this. We have been away for a week and all was OK. This is our 3rd day home and yesterday and today have been much more difficult. Struggling to stop tremor and get my right hand to move properly. We still have our horrible neighbour who is the cause of my PD I am sure. The house he lives in is on the market (although he won't let anyone look through it). It is just a matter of time.
