Red legs

Hey PD friends, has anyone been affected by red legs/ankles and feet? I just noticed yesterday that every time I am in my feet(even if for only 10 minutes) they look like I just came out of a very hot shower.When I sit and elevate my legs it disappears 🤔

I have the problem. I got was told that it is meds

Thank you 1182 that’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. Do you take Amantadine? That is the only PD med I am in right now, I start Sinemet next week.

that is a side effect of amantadine.

Thanks jujulini ! I thought it had to be a side effect of that, my Dr. diagnosed me in Nov 2017 but I think I have had it for years just went undiagnosed.

I have the condition . . . and I take amantadine twice a say.

Naw, don't give up the shorts! There's nothing better than warm sun on bare legs and feet!!

Check whether you are on agonists as this is often the side effects

I had unexplained red patches which were hot and shiny , a big one on left left around right knee and right elbow . Went away after one week
