'the environment of our cells creates the destiny of our cells. A healthy cell environment will create healthy, thriving cells and an unhealthy cell environment will create diseased cells that will soon die. " (From Galit Goldfarb's TED Talk on The Ideal Diet For Humans.)
I just love that quote. Its so simple. Thought I'd share it with everybody here to remind us when making choices and changes to make sure you are creating a healthy environment for your cells. Give them the best odds they can get.

So what would a healthy cell environment look like? One thing that really *isses me off about this disease is how somebody who's ostensibly strong and healthy can still get it when there are others who are obviously unhealthy physical specimens and don't get it! True they're probably going to get something else one day but I'm a fit, strong person. My argument is that I couldn't be these things unless to some degree, I had a healthy cell environment which built good muscle and enables me to run 100 metres still fairly quickly. It's such a mystery. And how weird is the concept of the Young Onset. I met a fellow PWP a couple of months ago and he got it at 30? and 2 months before DX he'd run the NY Marathon.
