Yes indeed.

Acceptance and gratitude are powerful forces when joined together. Acceptance doesn't mean just rolling over and taking what life throws at us but dealing with it with peace of mind and strength and without time-wasting delusion.

I couldn't agree more! I am almost 9 years with PD, and doing fairly well! I attribute it to yoga and feeling grateful for friends and family who support me in every way! I am now in training to teach yoga to others with Parkinson's so they may also enjoy a greater quality of life. I admit the first year was difficult but acceptance made a huge difference when I was ready to do that. There is still reason to feel optimistic. New treatments are in the works. Best to everyone else dealing with our challenges.
