I have been recently diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. The VA has recognized that I contacted the disease because of exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. I am looking for any info on how weather effects the disease. I hate cold weather but humidity may be bad for me also.
Thanks

My husband was a marine pilot in Vietnam. He now suffers from PD and has a disability rating because of his exposure to agent orange in Vietnam. Thankfully he is progressing very slowly.
This is a great forum that has taught me alot. Search NanCyclist and Bailey_Texas for great exercise tips to stave off the effects of PD. Sivestrov has great research on natural treatments as alternatives to standard meds or to supplement your treatment.
Lots of good infor here. We are fortunate to have the Veterans Affairs to assist us through this terrible disease. Most do not. Anyone that served in the military in Vietnam should check to see if they are eligible for disability benefits-financial and medical care.
Have learned that Tacrolimus anti-rejection medicine could be the source of my PD but don't think a change in med could reverse disease. Anyone else out there who has had a transplant and suffers from drug-induced PD?
Thanks for reply. VA granted benefits within 45 days. Certainly a record for me. I have 310% which of course makes no sense. That's my total % for all service connected disabilities. Go figure
