Shortage of timed release carbidopa/levodopa

My pharmacist told me yesterday that they won't be able to get the timed release version of carbidopa/levodopa until December. I will run out (CR 50-200) by end of October. Any suggestions?

can you take the ES? extended release? or maybe double the 25/100? if they have it

Called doc's office and they called pharmacy which came up with 200 of something I can take, so I should be OK. Thanks.

I take carbidopa/levodopa cr as well. Last week I went to Walgreens to pick up a refill and the tech said they were out till November. I called Costco pharmacy who had it on the shelf. I have switched pharmacies.
