Hi RobynS,
I was similar . . . GP put me back on HRT (Hormone Replacement) prob resolved.
Butchkiss New Zealand.
I have this as well but haven't found a solution. I take a fan out to the theatre or cinema and have water with me at all times. Sometimes I use a water spray bottle which I also keep with me. Frustrating as I didn't have hot flushes in menopause!
My neurologist gave me neurontin, it really helped.
Wow Neurontin?
I thought that was used for neuropathy only
I have had this for quite a few years and when I started taking my temperature daily found that I had a high body temperature as well. I started Vit D because of a blood test result and unexpectedly the hot flushes stopped
Yes-terrible hot flashes which I find get better when I give up sugary foods/treats!
It drives me insane! Standing in front of the open freezer helps.
Ok so this whole time I thought it was due to me coming into menopause
Now I'm thinking ....it's just another piece of PD ??
Ughhhhhhh
It is drives me nuts, I think sometimes it bother. Ore then P D. I noticed I have hot flashes when Sinemet kick in and wears off. So if I take Sinemet every 2 hours it is almost the entire day.
I also have this problem. Only With me I get very hot and sweaty, but when you touch my legs or arms and actually very cold. Sometimes even my stomach or chest will be cold but I feel as if I should be sweltering in the desert
