A recent study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.

I was delighted when I was present to the following discussion between my son and grandson (age 9). His sister had covered him with a blanket and sat on him. He called her a "heavyweight". Both appeared in the kitchen distressed. My son in strong terms told his son he "should never, ever criticize or comment on the weight of a female of any age. It was a cardinal rule for boys and men. He then turned to his daughter and said, "You know perfectly well what this taddling would result in. This was a setup!" He then sent both children to their rooms. I knew I'd raised him right !

My daughter visited today & asked if I'd lost weight. She was concerned it might be through ill health. My husband assured her that there was no need to worry because I was still fat when I took my clothes off. He had no idea he'd said anything wrong.

We men are stupid. With Parkinson's I say the Darnedest things.

Lots of fun, in the AZ sun.
