Tremor seems worse

I just started sinemet. 25/100 1/2 morning..1/2 at nite. My tremor seems worse than before...ive only took it 5 days so far.

I'm sorry to hear that your tremor seems worse now.

You said on another thread that your neuro (or GP?) had prescribed one 25/100 c/l tablet three times a day.

You have started out by taking half a tablet twice a day for the last 5 days. You have observed that your tremor seems to have become worse.

If it was me, I would phone the office of my neuro/GP and seek advice.

I called my dr. switched me to amantadine. have not started it yet. any opinions on that one

I read that it causes insomnia.any one out there take this

I had a bad reaction too. Mainly, when I took it my right foot got real stiff and kind of curled up. Then it would feel REALLY sore. I quit taking it. Then a few days ago I started taking it again because my tremor was just going crazy. What I've been finding is, if I take it, I can't wait too long before taking my second dose. Three hours is good, but four hours is too long.

What happens if you wait 4 hours? Does the tremor get worse?

Do you still get a stiff foot?

After four hours, everything is worse -- the stiff foot AND the shaking.

In a way, it's like wearing glasses. When you first start wearing them, you enjoy your new great vision, but once you take them off, your vision seems worse than it was before.

I was prescribed the same regiment, half a sinamet in the morning and half in the afternoon of 25/100. My tremor is a bit worse but mainly it makes me dizzy and nauseous.
