Falling at night!

My balance is good while on the meds.

However, being on the meds still, the last two nights, I have fallen, inside the house.

My knees took the brunt of it which is not good either.

Any suggestions?

Thank you?

Peace, Eva G :)

Dear Friend,

Sorry to hear that you have had a down turn. You are smart and have probably already reviewed the list of usual suspects: adequate lighting, physical supports, minimizing night-time wanderings. We recently had a brief exchange on strength and weakness, some of which you allude to in your identification to your on-off situation. Something I did not mention at that time is the effects of a low grade infection on overall weakness. For me, even a 1/2 to 1 deg F temperature increase, coupled with what appears to be a sudden weakness, is a good indication of infection. The last time this happened to me, an antibiotic shot put me back on track overnight. It's not always PD.

I wish you the best,

Wes

Thank you for that.

I took my temp and it seems to be within normal range 97.3

I will see my GP and have him check it too.

Peace, Eva G :)
