I find my symptoms seem to be worse with cold weather. Wonder if anyone experiences that?

. We lived in Spain for several years and Baz found it was the intense heat in Summer that brought him to a standstill. We now spend 20 weeks in the Summer in Uk and then 3 x 60 days in Spain with a couple of visits back to UK in between. It's not the cold in the winter that makes Baz worse ,it's the long dark days ,rain and dreariness and all the restrictive clothing . Not being able to be outdoors without being dressed like the Michelin man!. In Spain he is able to continue all his activities he finds helps the PD. Tennis ,cycling, walking skiing, socialising,

The campsites in Sothern Spain are full all winter with Sun Starved Northern Europeans choosing to leave behind their comfortable homes, for a winter in the sun outdoors in their camper vans and Caravans.

There is so much interaction as everyone speaks to each other, there's always a birthday to celebrate, likeminded people to do things with, lovely places to visit.

We have met many folks who sold up in the UK years ago for a life in Spain who now fiind they couldn't afford to return to the UK but don't want to spend summers in the heat ,have downsized and bought a mobile home in both countries and spend time between the two. Best of both worlds.

Thank you both for your posts! Sorry anyone suffers with this weird illness, but it certainly helps to better understand it. I try to be positive and find things I can do. Within a day I can go from feeling somewhat well to I'll and then back to feeling better. I am learning some things tend to affect my pd like the weather yet other time there is no rhyme or reason to feel worse. Always stay positive sometimes takes more work then others just like the nutty fluctuations with this crazy Illness! Wish everyone a great year!

Cold makes my tremors worse and I am much achier. Hot is unbearable.......makes me very weak and I feel sick to my stomach and I feel as though I'm going to faint. Fall and Spring are my favorite time...I guess that is true for everyone.
