Scalp and facial skin problems

Am seeking a home remedy, or at least a treatment, for sebhorreic keratosis. I am a male octogenarian, (dashingly handsome, but plagued in recent years with a variety of physical and medical problems brought on by or treated in conjunction with Parkinson's. These include "Cradle Cap", a "Super-dandruff" caused, in part, by lack of blood circulation in the scalp, Actinic Keratosis, a flaky lesion, often on the scalp caused by excessive exposure to sunlight, Basal Cell Carcinoma (skin cancer), Squamus Cell Carcinoma, (a deeper cancer) and melanoma, the metastasizing "big daddy" of skin cancers.

Over the years, with the help of various dermatologists, I have waged war on all of the above, by freezing, by operating and by medicating, sometimes successfully, sometimes not so much so, but, for the most part, successfully. MEANWHILE,

about 10 years ago, I noticed a small dark spot just above the beltline on the left side of my body. It was nothing. Then I got two more, a little higher and a little to the right. When I asked my dermatoligist about them he said they were Sebhoreic Keratosis and that they are harmless. Over the years the growths multiplied. forming a "field" which now extended over my right shoulder. Then I got one on the back of my right ear and several suspicious spots on my face. I again consulted dermatology and was assured that they are harmless and not contagious. I am putting small amounts of flourouracil on the new spots and they seem to be diminishing but I would appreciate anyone with an idea.

I recently had surgery to remove cancer from off my arm and face. Yesterday I noticed a bump on my face near the removed cancer. Monday I will set appointment with my dermatologist.

The following may be an interesting read:

Coconut Oil and Baking Soda as Cure for Skin Cancer

Preparation:

She used coconut oil instead of water since this oil possesses extra strong regeneration efficiency. Kyrenet mixed one part of baking soda with one part of coconut oil (a teaspoon of each) and she mixed them by adding warm water until she got thick paste. She treated the carcinoma directly using this paste. Since the first couple of treatments there were visible positive results. It is recommended not to rub the carcinoma just to apply the healing mixture on it and to leave it there as long as possible. You can use a shower cap to keep the remedy safe and dry.

First week – 3 applications.

Second week – apply twice at properly cleaned skin-carcinoma surface.

It is also important to mention that this treatment should be done properly because of the bigger depth of the skin tissue where the roots of carcinoma are connected to. Even when the visible signs of skin cancer disappeared you should continue to use this remedy of coconut oil and baking soda to cure skin cancer in order to destroy its roots.

The B vitamin niacinamide/nicotinamide is great for the skin and has multiple applications which include, (non-melanoma) skin cancer prevention, the autoimmune condition Bullous pemphigoid and acne.

As little as 500 mg per day can minimize UVB skin damage:

The autoimmune skin disease, bullous pemphigoid:

"Bullous pemphigoid (BUL-us PEM-fih-goid) is a rare skin condition that causes large, fluid-filled blisters."

Nicotinamide and tetracycline therapy of bullous pemphigoid.

Nicotinamide: A Key Player in the Developmental Origins of Parkinson’s Disease?

"Nicotinamide aids the conversion of stem cells to dopaminergic neurons increasing efficiency and safety of the cells produced, and reducing cost; important as we progress towards patient-specific cell replacement therapy for Parkinson’s . Our data also suggest that nicotinamide is a key signalling factor required in a definable dosage range at key times for the formation of a healthy population of dopamine neurons. An optimal maternal to foetal dietary dosage of nicotinamide - neither too low nor too high - could be linked to Parkinson’s disease later in life."

All right, I am going to officially dub the Merlin. Where do you find niacinamide/nicotinamide? Is there a quality issue that I should be searching for?

I confess, I may have exaggerated slightly in some areas. Also am computer semi-illiterate and, in trying to gain access to another program, it appears that I have somehow changed my name in this one. It is not the name which heads the skin problem inquiry. I hope this has and will not cause you or the program any problem.

Not what you're looking for?
