I hope the company comes through with a new PD drug (which actually works) to relieve symptoms. I did a little research and found a study which investigated whether Bacoside-1, a component of the herb, Bacopa monnieri, interacts with DJ-1:

Also, Bacopa monnieri has a known history with neurodegenerative disorders:

My day job is investments, specializing in biotechnology. The steps for bringing a new drug to market are preclinical (cell culture studies then animals)->phase 1 (human safety & dosing) -> phase 2 (proof of concept in uncontrolled studies) -> phase 3 (controlled studies) -> New Drug Application -> FDA Advisory committee review -> FDA approval decision. This process takes many years and costs $10s - $100s of millions or even $billions depending on the drug. This company has all of $100k in cash which apparently was a loan from insiders cause they owe insiders $188k. See:

sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data...

They have *not* even identified a candidate drug yet*, much less tested it in any preclinical model - so they have *not* even gotten to the *preclinical* stage. See:

I get stuff like "bioscience report" in the mail from time to time. These pieces are all the same - they never mention anything about company finances or stage of development - because there is *nothing* to see. Invariably these companies are listed on the "bulletin board" because they do not qualify for listing on an exchange. This is what is known in the business as a "pump and dump" - sucker uneducated investors into buying and leave them holding the bag.
