My mother has parkinson for about 5 years ,her face becomes stiff and rigid and it bothers her alot.
It becomes difficult for her to speak or ear.
Does anyone has the same problem? What can be done to releive it?
Thanks🌹🌹

I think jaws exercise may help her. During off-time , some times i face this problem, please ask her try this, she may get some relief, as I do get. Ask her to chew sugar free chewingum or even half spoon of whole wheat, which gives the same effect and even speech will improve. Also ask her to look at frequently Laughter programs or Charli-Chaplin moves, which makes one laugh, which gives lot movements to facial muscles
My face becomes slightly rigid, too, when my medication wears off.
When I feel the medication wearing off, I have to sit down until I can take the next dose and it has time to take effect. I decided that even though I feel lousy during this time, I wanted to make something positive out of it and the time that I have to sit. So, I massage my face (based on an excellent book, Facial Reflexology: A Self-Care Manual, by Marie -France Muller). I also massage my scalp and neck at this time and also do something deep breathing exercises. After the medication takes effect again, I am much more relaxed and refreshed than if I hadn't done any of the massage. I look in the mirror and my face is actually kind of glowing and has an effortless smile on it.
Botox
i have a similar problem with the rigidity of the face, particularly the region of the jaw. This is very trying because as a consequence, I drool almost for hours in som days.
