Good for you. I believe in all kinds of strenuous exercise particularly those that use different muscle groups and coordination. I do spinning class, body pump weight training. Elliptical machine, and a little yoga. Haven't tried CrossFit yet. I believe cardio is important, and weight training has proven results. I even tried a bag class last week. So many YMCA classes, so little time in the week.
with crossfit you get all
1 hour 3 to 5 times a week will get ur done
Looks like it would help a lot (as long as you don't get injured in the process). I find with anything different the Parkinson patient's mind responds well to the challenge. It is that shocker of new uses of balance , muscles, and coordination that works well.
Yes, I have been doing CrossFit for over 3 years and the Coach has designed a routine for me to follow that has helped me with balance, weight and energy. I go 3 times a week for 1 hour.
CrossFit sounds good. What is it ?
It is designed to work on your body core to develop strength that helps in my balance. There are over 1000 locations aka "box" sites. Check the internet under CrossFit for more information. Good Luck.
make that 10,000 boxs' in e the world
Thanks for your replies. I had wondered if it was anything to do with using Cross-trainers which I think are called Eliptical something or other in the USA.
