I also have become thermal intolerant. I do find it easier to bundle up when cold than to strip off to stay cool. I relocated from southern AZ which wasn't too bad because we lived at 5000 ft to the Willamette valley in western OR. It is actually warmer here than my previous home in AZ due to an extremely unusual heatwave.
