Of course, it's been offered by various practitioners for years - some doing valid research/studies, most outright scamsters. Many set themselves up as "trials" or "studies" in order to skirt laws and exact very pricey charges from hopeful "participants" suffering various stages of various disabling diseases (credible studies don't charge participants). The day will likely come when a genuine stem cell solution for PD, MS, Alzheimer's, etc arrives but, thus far, a stroll through the internet offers only tales of woe and disappointment. One from yesterday:

cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba...

our member ATOMIC originally posted this link a few months ago. His post was called "New Scientist article about new treatment for Pd"

newscientist.com/article/dn...

This is the only thing I can see at this moment that has the potential ( looks like it may have already succeed ) in producing a cure. A really honest to goodness , 100 percent , no more meds cure. The use of fetal cells presently limits the application to only the very rich however the ongoing simultaneous efforts by others to produce cells from more common cells that replicate fetal cells would make this cure available to everyone. It takes a couple years for the brain to repair itself enough to make a difference , but it does do it. It took a long time for our brains to deteriorate and the ongoing efforts to find ways to identify PD patients early will pay off by allowing earlier treatment and avoiding much of the damage . So you see it is not just one area of research that we need to raise money for and we do need to raise money.

If the link does not work I will keep trying (wow it works )

Oh and what Metacognito says above is also correct . A lot of money spent in foreign countries by desperate Parkies with no resulting improvements.

I have had fetal stem cell treatment and stem cell treatment from my own adipose tissue. I can't say that I have any benefit yet to say it will or does make a difference in my symptoms or wellbeing. wish it gave me a miracle cure but NO.

Yes, My wife got treatment from Stem Cell Clinics in Ukraine, with the help of Placidway, a medical tourism company. We were referred by this company to Unique Cell Treatment Clinic, Kiev, Ukraine which is a modern and highly specialized medical center. My wife did not have so much difficulties in undergoing the treatment since the staff were so kind to us and made my wife comfortable.
