Digestion
You wrote six months ago about your digestive problems cslamb. I expect this is a continuation of this due to your slow gut movement which is a big problem in PD. Be careful or it may stop all together,do see your doctor.
There are a lot of reasons for indigestion with anyone, particularly PD. slow motility of food, drinking less fluid, reflux, lack of proper digestive enzymes, eating things one is sensitive to are among them. We use glucamannon. We used to use it with meals but the glass of water required diluted the digestive enzymes too much so now take it an hour before or after ALWAYS WITH PLENTY OF WATER....it is a fiber. We occasionally have to use colace as softener. Always use probiotics. Activia yogurt is excellent to keep regular.
Dr's hardly know anything about enzymes, probiotics and such but these are what make the gut stay healthy.
