Yes & I work out everyday!

Hi there

I had dB's in 2013, and have put on weight. My consultant did warn me of this, I used to have a very intense tremor which was calorific burning. So now my tremor is virtually non existing the pounds have piled on!!

Yes I was 138 now 6months later 156 lbs. I go to the gym and eat better. I have remained at current weight for the last several months. Everyone says I look much better than before.

Yes, I gained about 15 pounds within the first year after DBS. I attributed it to a slower metabolism since I was no longer having the dystonia & dyskinesias that I had prior to DBS surgery.
