Please pray that the stem cell treatment and trials succeed. It's getting close. Read on the Internet how many companies are almost there.

I wouldn't put too much hope in the embryonic stemcell treatment or any treatment without following the necessary safety trials. Stemcell transplants can also kill and this is not like taking a vitamin or supplement.

In the end the winner must have a treatment plan that meets all the requirements (safety and efficacies), spent the years and money to get there, and finally have a financially sound business implementation of their product. BCLI is one small company that has pursued these goals for several years and should have a product available for ALS first. Assuming ALS treatment succeeds (and they have seen some success) then PD treatment should follow.
