I am in the UK and am not familiar with the qualifications that are after this doctor's name. What is a DC QME please?
I'm not sure--I'd hazard a guess that it's some kind of chiropractor.
My wife was suffering from the 'pisa' effect. She was leaning over to a point where she would fall off a chair and had great difficulty in feeding herself. She was also very bent over when walking. I had read about Mucuna pruriens so I gave it try - 2x250mg capsuals in place of her mid day Sinemet. Within 24 hours the 'pisa' effect was gone and she was walking more upright. Magic!
I have told both my GP and Parkinsons nurse. Both said, "if it works, great!" The parkisons nurse did suggest that I include a half dose of Sinemet at mid day.
I have tried 2x1000mg at mid day, but no noticeable change, so I have gone back to the 2x250mg. If she is feeling a bit 'wobbly' first thing in the morning I give her 1x250 in addition to her normal Sinemet.
I am using Kapikachhu capsules supplied by Himalaya Herbal Healthcare.
It works for us
