Has anybody tried LDN (low dose naltrexon)

A friend of mine is using LDN and are very pleased with it.Anyone with PD that have tried it?

I have been taking 4.5 mg of ldn for almost eleven months. I have not realized any positive change yet but plan to stick with it. I know several folks who have benefited from using it. If you try it make certain you get it from a reputable compounding pharmacy. I use Skips Pharmacy in Fla. He is an "ldn expert".

Did your PD DR give prescrtption? have you varied dose to see if that would help?

I have been taking LDN for just about one year. I felt benefits right away, my sleep improved and most importantly my pain in my back decreased by 75%. Also it is an antidepressant and I have felt more positive than any time period of my life. I was also able to decrease my meds .... from 10 1/2 mg requip to 31/2 mg. I still take 3 sinemet (100/25) and 1mg of azilect.

Was the drug given threw your doctor / spesialist.

How to be sure that it is the rigth produsent (I live in norway)

Is there any publications / articles about LDN and PD?

Hi Snorre,

I received my LDN prescription thru my family internist. I use the apothecary because it has to be compounded. Go on you tube and put in Parkinson's and LDN.....there are also blogs...Good Luck

There was somebody only a few weeks ago who reported tryingLDN. I can't remember their HU name but I can remember their conclusion was that we should save our money and not waste it on LDN.
