Does anyone else have trouble with their lower lip? Mine seems to be receding either from new capped teeth or keeping from dribbling.

Have you tried going to a speech therapist? They are trained to deal with all mouth problems, including swallowing, not just voice production.

Hi hilarypeta

Drooling happen when we don't swallow the saliva regularly, as 'normal' people do. Our brain does not tell the mouth to close and swallow the excess saliva, with the result we dribble, often without being aware of it.

Going to a speech therapist can help, by exercising the face muscles. We can develop the habit of swallowing regularly, but that requires a lot of concentration. I still drool at night, in my sleep. In the daytime, I seem to manage!
