i tend to throw thigns down instead of putting them down (my distance throws are gettign better)

iT dirves my partner MAD

If you are anything like me, it is because once you've carried that item for a bit, you begin to pitch forward in your gait and experience that sense you are going to fall and as you bend or reach to put the item down, the throwing seems to stop the forward motion/falling process - like catching yourself before the fall (most times)

Hello Cathi,

You are correct. You are utilizing Newton's Laws of Physics. For every motion there is an equal and opposite motion (or force). If you are falling forward often try carrying a soft ball that you can throw forward to help gain your balance and avoid hitting the floor. If falling back you can probably throw the ball behind you.
