Tremor in both hands

Is that posseible in the beginning od PD, or it's simptom of Parkinson plus sindom?

Hi,

Sorry cant help you here, however i have tremor in doth arms hands and now my left leg has started to join in , my head also shakes , i must look like a pupett out of fireball XL5 or something

,

keep the faith we are here to help , if we cant the i am sure you will find the answer on the parkinsons uk web site

While not typical, it is possible. PD usually presents on one side first, but as so many others have observed, PD varies quite a bit from patient to patient.

Every person is different and we all present varying symptoms in the beginning. Mine started as a twitch in my right thumb which spread to my hand. My tremor is slight and my Neurosurgeon said it could possibly remain the same for the next 10 yrs or so, he also said it may or may not spread to my leg or the other side of my body...only time will tell

My understanding is that PD always begins unilaterally - If tremor is observed on both sides at the beginning it is something else - Essential Tremor maybe?But I could very well be wrong about that....
