While not typical, it is possible. PD usually presents on one side first, but as so many others have observed, PD varies quite a bit from patient to patient.
Best wishes,
Steve
Every person is different and we all present varying symptoms in the beginning. Mine started as a twitch in my right thumb which spread to my hand. My tremor is slight and my Neurosurgeon said it could possibly remain the same for the next 10 yrs or so, he also said it may or may not spread to my leg or the other side of my body...only time will tell
Take care
Andy
My understanding is that PD always begins unilaterally - If tremor is observed on both sides at the beginning it is something else - Essential Tremor maybe? But I could very well be wrong about that....
And I have a problems with my vision... That's not good.
