Skin fragility???

I seem to have incredibly fragile skin. The slightest bump will cause bleeding or a bruise. Does anyone else have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? Thank you for all your help!

Yes, I also have skin fragality. It is so easy to get bruises and sometimes bleeding at times I haven't even realized I lightly hit or brushed against something. I do not take blood thinners but am a very low dose of Prednisone for maintenance for my RA. I suspect it is the Prednisone.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I suspect my bleeding is due to the laffoon amide that I am taking. All the best.

If you have ever been on prednisone, that will cause it. I’ve seen it all to many times in elderly people in nursing homes who have been on long term prednisone. They have paper thin skin & it tears really easy.
