Completed Week 5 Session 1 this morning, after a 3 day break (went away for the weekend and was too tired on Monday to do much of anything), and it was surprisingly good.
I haven't had any injuries yet. There's been a very small amount of knee pain every so often, but only when I walk after running, not during running itself. I really hope I can continue without any problems.
I'm both looking forward to and dreading the next two sessions! I'm worried I won't be able to manage 20 minutes, but I'm also looking forward to trying. Eight minutes of running sounds far more achievable, although still a long time. Mind you, a few weeks ago I thought 3 minutes of running sounded like a long time. Actually, it still does!
Bought new trainers yesterday, and a hoodie to wear when the weather takes a turn for the worst. I'm a tall lass, so I bought a men's hoodie as women's hoodies weren't long enough in the body, and the arms are so long I look like a monkey! I bought a wrist-purse as well on eBay a few weeks ago - good for holding my spare key. It's odd getting all this running gear, but I want to be prepared. I'm not fit yet, but I'm certainly fitter than I used to be, and I don't want to end up falling off the wagon with this just because I don't have dry trainers or a warm running top or similar on a cold and rainy Autumn morning.
