Well that was fun! A very ploddy first half against a horrendous head wind on the cycle path today. When I turned at the half way point though it coincided with an enormous gust and I nearly took to the air. It was pretty warm despite the gale so I needed to take my jacket off and that was a bit tricky. Jacket tied around my middle I carried on with the odd gust livening up my cadence.

Out in the elements - amazingly exhilarating! That’s week 7 done - onwards!!!!! “Take me home again Kathleen …. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎼🎵

I just walked there dog and nearly got blown away at the top of the hill.

Thanks. Fun but I’m over it now - I’m beginning to fear for some of the trees around here.

Yeah, I get that, it would be so nice to have a soft breeze, it's bad in the south and we aren't even in the path of this storm, hope the trees stay upright
