So after Tuesday’s disastrous attempt and having a head cold I haven’t completed a run on the program since Sunday.... my question is, should I go straight into week 9 run 1 after having a break for almost a week????
Also in other news this book arrived today, has anyone read it? Was it helpful?

I honestly haven't a clue. But in your shoes I'd do what I felt comfortable and confident with. If you push yourself too much - it might put you off. Well done BTW.
I've had to take a few breaks for leg injuries and been fine to pick up where I left off after a week or so, so my non-expert suggestion is that you'll be fine to continue to W9 - dropping back will only take a few minutes off of the total time. However, you might still have some lingering effects of the cold, so don't beat yourself up if you aren't feeling it - perhaps do a shorter one or some walk-runs and pick it up again next time you go out.
